HI THERE, i'M aMANDA
OF amANDA & cO.Just your average small town, middle of no-where girl, that ended up blessed enough to become an award winning photographer.
It's been my honor to cover weddings for almost 10 years, with endless locations across Missouri and Illinois.
I love being able to show my couples what I see when I am looking through the lens...
What You See
What I See
What You See
What i See
When I am not behind the lens, I am very much a real person.
To kick things off—yes, I’m a redhead, but no, I won’t steal your soul. If you’re still reading and you’ve got a sense of humor, we’re already on our way to becoming best friends.
After living in the city for over a decade, I moved back to the countryside after my dad passed to help my family. What I thought would be a time of transition turned into a beautiful chapter of unexpected love and laughter. While I’ll always have a place in my heart for the city, there’s something about those Midwest sunsets, firefly-lit evenings, and dewy mornings that has truly restored my soul. And yes, a lot of coffee on my front porch helps with that too.
When I’m not capturing your special moments, I’m a full-time mom to two incredible girls—Ana, 14, and Alex, 27—and I'm also “parenting backwards” as I care for my sweet, feisty mom, Linda, who’s 85. The love of my life is a farmer and fireman, and together, we’re working on restoring our farmhouse, which is full of as much chaos and charm as anything you’d see on HGTV. We’ve got a wild hound dog named Jake, two mischievous ducks—Willie and Millie—and a life that’s never anything but full of surprises.
At weddings you will always have two photographers, this way we never miss a moment. You will find myself and the three other amazing photographers here at Amanda & Co. Photo are in the business of storytelling. These women are my dearest friends, and together we have seen it all, and heard it all. We love to laugh and see you having the time of your life. We are there to help plan, answer questions, keep your wedding party smiling, and your day on track. More often than not at the end of the day you will find one of us at a table chatting with your grandparents (one of our favorite things), and listening to tales of how their story began, because your family is our family.
...AND DON'T BE SURPRISED IF WE JUMP IN AND TEACH YOUR GRANDPArents HOW TO TAKE A SELFIE with you
